Before You Cook

Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Start the Beef and Tomatoes

    Prick tomatoes all over with a fork. If you receive one whole tomato instead, not to worry; simply core tomato, cut into 1/2" dice, and proceed with recipe instructions.

    Evenly divide ground beef and tomatoes between provided trays and break up beef into bite-sized pieces. Spread into an even layer.

    Bake uncovered in hot oven, 12 minutes.

    Beef will finish cooking in a later step.

    Carefully remove from oven. Drain any excess liquid and break up beef mixture. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Add the Pasta

    Evenly divide pasta, cream cheese, Parmesan, softened butter, garlic and parsley seasoning, and half the feta (reserve remaining for garnish) between both trays. Stir 1/4 tsp. salt, a pinch of pepper, and 1/4 cup water into each tray until combined. Cream cheese and butter will melt as meal bakes.

    Cover with foil.

    Bake the Meal

    Bake covered in hot oven until pasta is heated through and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 10-15 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven. Add a pinch of salt and pepper to each tray and stir to combine.

    To serve, top pasta with remaining feta. Bon appétit!
