Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using antibiotic free chicken breasts, pat dry. Cook until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

    Start the Carrots

    Combine carrots, a pinch of salt, and 1 tsp. olive oil in one provided tray. Cover with foil.

    Bake covered in hot oven, 5 minutes.

    While carrots bake, continue recipe.

    Prepare the Chicken

    Pat chicken dry and season both sides with 1 tsp. olive oil, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt.

    Place in second provided tray and evenly top with marinara, then cheese.

    Bake Meal and Heat Mashed Potatoes

    Bake both trays (chicken uncovered, carrots covered) in hot oven until carrots are tender and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 20-25 minutes.

    Cutlet thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner cutlet, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

    While meal bakes, place mashed potatoes in a microwave-safe bowl and cover with a damp paper towel. Microwave covered until heated through, 2-3 minutes.

    Carefully remove from microwave. Vigorously stir in 2/3 the softened butter (reserve remaining for carrots) and 1/4 tsp. salt until combined.

    Carefully remove trays from oven and drain any excess liquid. Stir remaining butter, honey, and 1/4 tsp. salt into carrots until combined.
