Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

Start the Chicken
Pat chicken dry.
Place chicken in one provided tray and combine with 2 tsp. olive oil.Bake uncovered in hot oven, 15 minutes.Chicken will finish cooking in a later step.Carefully remove tray from oven and drain any excess liquid. Stir in garlic sesame sauce, sweet chili sauce, and cornstarch until combined. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.While chicken bakes, continue recipe. -
Prepare the Rice
Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps.
Remove rice from packaging and place in second provided tray. Add corn, edamame, umami seasoning, and teriyaki glaze. Stir to combine and cover tray with foil. -
Bake the Meal
Bake both trays (chicken uncovered, rice covered) in hot oven until rice is heated through and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 10-15 minutes.
Carefully remove both trays from oven.To serve, top rice with chicken and garnish with sesame seeds. Bon appétit!
