Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

  • Ground Turkey 165° F |

    Start the Green Beans

    Trim green beans, if necessary.

    Stem and mince rosemary.

    Place green beans, 2 tsp. olive oil, lemon n herb seasoning, and 1/4 tsp. salt in provided tray. Massage oil and seasonings into green beans. Spread into an even layer.

    Bake uncovered in hot oven, 15 minutes.

    While green beans bake, continue recipe.

    Make Rosemary Bacon Butter and Add Steaks

    Line a microwave-safe plate with a paper towel. Spread bacon evenly on towel-lined plate.

    Microwave until crisp, 1-2 minutes.

    Carefully remove from microwave. Transfer bacon to a mixing bowl. Stir in 1 tsp. rosemary, half the creme fraiche (reserve remaining for mashed potatoes), and butter until combined. Set aside.

    Pat steaks dry. Season both sides with 1/4 tsp. salt and a pinch of pepper.

    After 15 minutes, carefully remove tray from oven and push green beans to one side. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil. Place steaks in now-empty side of tray.

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until green beans are tender and steaks reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 13-18 minutes.

    Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

    While meal bakes, continue recipe.

    Heat Mashed Potatoes and Finish Meal

    Place mashed potatoes, remaining creme fraiche, 1/4 tsp. salt, and cheese in a microwave-safe bowl. Vigorously stir to combine.

    Microwave uncovered until heated through, 2-3 minutes.

    Carefully remove from microwave. Vigorously stir to combine.

    To serve, top steak with rosemary bacon butter. Bon appétit!
