If using Impossible burger, cook in a large non-stick pan with 1 tsp. olive oil over medium heat, breaking up until burger reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes.

If using Italian sausage, remove from casing, if necessary. Cook in a large non-stick pan with 1 tsp. olive oil over medium heat, breaking up sausage until no pink remains and sausage reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

If using shrimp, pat dry. Cook in a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat with 2 tsp. olive oil until pink and shrimp reach minimum internal temperature, 2-3 minutes per side.

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Stem kale and coarsely chop.
Coarsely chop olives.Drain and rinse capers.Mince garlic. -
2 Start the Sauce
Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 Tbsp. olive oil. Add garlic to hot pan and stir occasionally until fragrant, 30-60 seconds.
Add capers, olives, and red pepper flakes (to taste). Stir occasionally, 1 minute. -
3 Finish the Sauce
Add tomatoes and a pinch of salt and pepper to hot pan and stir to combine. Bring to a simmer.
Once simmering, reduce heat to low, cover, and cook, 15 minutes.After 15 minutes, stir in butter until melted and combined.Remove from burner.While sauce cooks, continue recipe. -
4 Cook Kale and Crisp Gnocchi
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil. Add kale and a pinch of salt to hot pan. Stir occasionally until kale is tender, 3-5 minutes.
Transfer kale to a plate. Keep pan over medium heat.While kale cooks, line a plate with a paper towel.Add 1 Tbsp. olive oil and gnocchi to hot pan. Stir occasionally until tender and golden-brown, 5-7 minutes.Remove from burner. Transfer gnocchi to towel-lined plate. -
5 Finish the Dish
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping sauce with gnocchi and kale. Garnish with cheese. Bon appétit!
