Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Start the Sauce

    Evenly divide Bolognese sauce, tomato puree, 4 tsp. olive oil, peas, 1 tsp. salt, and 1/2 cup water between both provided trays. Stir to combine. Cover trays with foil.

    Bake covered in hot oven until heated through, 10-12 minutes.

    Add the Spinach and Pasta

    Carefully remove trays from oven. Evenly divide cream base, pesto, pasta, half the cheese (reserve remaining for garnish), and spinach between trays. Stir to combine and cover with foil.

    Bake the Meal

    Bake both trays again covered in hot oven until spinach is wilted and pasta is heated through, 20-25 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven and stir to combine.

    To serve, top pasta with remaining cheese and crispy onions. Bon appétit!
