  • 1 Mixing Bowl
  • 1 Large Non-Stick Pan

Before You Cook

Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using ground turkey, break up until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes.

  • If using steak strips, pat dry, coarsely chop, then separate pieces. Stir occasionally until steak reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes. Rest, 3 minutes.

    Bake the Flatbreads

    Place flatbreads on prepared baking sheets, flat-side up.

    Bake in hot oven until beginning to brown around edges, 5-7 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven. Flip flatbreads and top evenly with 2/3 the cheese (reserve remaining for topping). Flatbreads will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Bake again in hot oven until cheese is melted, 2-4 minutes.

    While flatbreads bake, continue recipe.

    Cook the Beef

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil. Add ground beef to hot pan and stir occasionally, breaking up meat, until browned, 3-5 minutes.

    Stir in pot roast seasoning, demi-glace, 2 Tbsp. water, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer.

    Once simmering, stir occasionally until slightly thickened and ground beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 3-4 minutes.

    Remove from burner.

    While beef cooks, continue recipe.

    Prepare the Pickles

    Coarsely chop pickles.

    Make Dressing and Finish Dish

    Combine dressing and 2 tsp. water in a mixing bowl. Set aside.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping flatbread with ground beef, remaining cheese, and pickles (to taste). Drizzle dressing mixture over flatbread. Bon appétit!
