To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

If using whole chicken breasts, pat dry and, on a clean cutting board, cut into 1” dice. Follow same instructions as shrimp in Steps 2 and 3, baking uncovered in hot oven until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 20-25 minutes.

If using steak strips, spread into a single layer, pat dry, and coarsely chop. Follow same instructions as shrimp in Steps 2 and 3, baking uncovered in hot oven until steak reaches minimum internal temperature, 15-20 minutes.

1 Cook the Peppers
Turn oven on to 425 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.
Combine diced peppers, onion, 1 tsp. olive oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper in provided tray. Spread into a single layer.Bake uncovered in hot oven until mostly tender, 10-12 minutes. -
2 Add the Orzo and Shrimp
Combine chicken base and 1 tsp. water in a mixing bowl.
Carefully remove tray from oven. Stir in orzo, pesto, and chicken base-water mixture, then push to one side of tray. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.Drain shrimp thoroughly. Pat dry.Combine shrimp, seasoning blend, and 1 tsp. olive oil in empty side of tray. Top with tomatoes and stir to combine. -
3 Bake the Meal
Bake uncovered in hot oven until shrimp reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 15-20 minutes.
Carefully remove tray from oven. Garnish with crème fraîche and crispy jalapeños (to taste). Bon appétit!
