Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • Meatlovers! If using protein, cook in a medium non-stick pan over medium heat with 1 tsp. olive oil. If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry and stir occasionally until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes. If using shrimp, pat dry and cook until shrimp reach minimum internal temperature, 2-3 minutes per side. Add to tacos as desired.

    Prepare the Cauliflower

    Coarsely chop cauliflower into 1" pieces.

    Cook the Vegetables

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil. Add cauliflower, diced peppers, and a pinch of salt to hot pan. Stir occasionally until vegetables are tender, 5-7 minutes.

    Stir in Buffalo sauce (to taste) and butter until combined. If pan is too dry, add 1 Tbsp. water at a time, as needed.

    Remove from burner.

    While vegetables cook, continue recipe.

    Make the Slaw

    In a mixing bowl, combine slaw mix, dressing, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Set aside.

    Warm Tortillas and Finish Dish

    Wrap tortillas in a damp paper towel and microwave until warm, 30-60 seconds.

    If tortillas come folded, keep folded.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, filling tortillas with vegetables, slaw, guacamole, and crispy jalapeños (to taste). Bon appétit!
