Start the Broccoli
Using hands, break broccoli into bite-sized pieces.
In provided tray, combine broccoli, 2 tsp. olive oil, 1 Tbsp. water, and 1/4 tsp. salt. Cover with foil.Bake covered in hot oven, 15 minutes.While broccoli bakes, continue recipe. -
Add the Salmon
Pat salmon dry and season flesh side with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add salmon, skin-side up, to hot pan. Sear until golden-brown, 2-4 minutes.Salmon will finish cooking in a later step. Remove from burner.After 15 minutes, carefully remove tray from oven. Stir in garlic and parsley seasoning and a pinch of salt. Push broccoli to one side of tray. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.Transfer salmon, skin-side down, to now-empty side of tray. Top evenly with half the BBQ sauce (reserve remaining for garnish). -
Bake Meal and Prepare Green Onions
Bake uncovered in hot oven until broccoli is tender and salmon is firm and reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 8-10 minutes.
While meal bakes, trim and thinly slice green onions.Carefully remove tray from oven. Stir butter into broccoli.To serve, garnish salmon with remaining BBQ sauce (using a clean utensil) and green onions. Top broccoli with sesame seeds. Bon appétit!
