Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

    Prepare the Vegetables

    Break broccoli into bite-sized pieces using hands.

    Evenly divide broccoli, bell peppers, and edamame between provided trays. Top each tray evenly with 2 tsp. olive oil, 1/4 tsp. salt, and 1/4 tsp. pepper. Massage oil and seasonings into vegetables. Spread into an even layer.

    Add the Meatballs

    In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, panko, mayonnaise, Asian garlic, ginger, & chile seasoning (use less if spice-averse), 1 Tbsp. garlic sesame sauce (reserve remaining for garnish), 1/4 tsp. salt, and 1/4 tsp. pepper.

    Form mixture into 12 equally-sized meatballs. Top vegetables evenly with meatballs, then 2 tsp. olive oil.

    Bake Meal and Heat Rice

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until vegetables are tender and meatballs reach a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 22-25 minutes.

    While meal bakes, carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Remove rice from packaging. Place rice and 1/4 tsp. salt in a microwave-safe bowl.

    Microwave uncovered until heated through, 3-4 minutes.

    Carefully remove from microwave. Rest, 2 minutes.

    Fluff rice with a fork.

    Carefully remove trays from oven. Evenly divide remaining garlic sesame sauce (use a clean utensil) between trays and gently stir to combine.

    To serve, garnish with sesame seeds. Bon appétit!
