Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

  • Ground Turkey 165° F |

    Start the Cauliflower

    Break cauliflower into bite-sized pieces using hands.

    In provided tray, combine cauliflower, pot roast seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Spray with cooking spray and spread into an even layer.

    Bake uncovered in hot oven, 10 minutes.

    While cauliflower bakes, continue recipe.

    Add the Meatloaves

    Line a microwave-safe plate with a paper towel. Spread bacon on towel-lined plate.

    Microwave until crisp, 1-2 minutes.

    While bacon microwaves, finely crush crackers.

    Carefully remove from microwave.

    In a mixing bowl, thoroughly combine ground beef, crushed crackers, sour cream, garlic salt, half the crispy bacon (reserve remaining for garnish), and 1/4 tsp. pepper. Form meat mixture into two equally-sized, oval-shaped loaves, about 3" in length and 2" by height.

    After 10 minutes, carefully remove tray from oven and push cauliflower to one side. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Transfer meatloaves to now-empty side of tray.

    Bake the Meal

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until cauliflower is tender and meatloaves reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 20-25 minutes.

    Carefully remove tray from oven.

    To serve, top cauliflower with cheese and garnish meatloaf with BBQ sauce and remaining crispy bacon. Bon appétit!
